Stefano Solimano

Born March 25th, 1967 in Genua.

Degree in Law from Catholic University, Milano. Since 2010 he is full Professor of History of medieval and modern Law in the Catholic University in Milano. Previously he was Associate Professor of History of medieval and modern Law in the Catholic University of Piacenza (2001) and a researcher in the Faculty of Law in the Catholic University in Milano (1999).

He taught History of medieval and modern Law in the Catholic University of Piacenza.

He is Director of the Department of Legal Sciences of the Catholic University of Milano.

He is a member of the Società Italiana di Storia del diritto and the Société d’histoire du droit.

His Research areas are History of civil Law and History of Processual Civil Law (XVIII-XIX centuries).
